Marnus Labuschagne’s cricket career started at the domestic level, where he played for Queensland and the Easts-Redlands District Cricket Club.

In 2013, he ventured to England to play club cricket for Plymouth in the Devon Premier League. The following year, he continued his stint in England, playing for the Sandwich Town Cricket Club in the Kent Premier League. He was a high scorer for both teams.

On October 31, 2014, Labuschagne made his first-class debut in the Sheffield Shield against South Australia. His debut was noteworthy, scoring 83 runs in the first innings, although he didn’t score in the second innings.
