He later made his professional debut in 2010. He played his first T20 Domestic match January 2, 2010 against NSW (New South Wales).

The very next month, he made his List A debut in a match between Tasmania and Victoria on February 28.

After that, he made his first-class debut for Victoria against New South Wales in February 2011. In that match, he scored 38 runs and took two wickets.

International Cricket:

A year later, in 2012, he played his first international match and from there he made his name in cricket. He made his ODI debut against Afghanistan at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on August 25, 2012.

Later on, he made his Test debut against India at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on March 2, 2013.
