Garang Kuol’s early football career was shaped by his passion for the sport and the influence of his brothers. He started playing football as a junior, initially joining Shepparton Soccer Club.

He finished his first season with 6 league appearances for the NPL senior side. Then, Kuol reunited with his brother, Teng Kuol, at the start of December, after Teng signed with the Mariners following a brief stint at Melbourne Victory Youth. In the same period, he earned his first call-up to the A-League squad for their FFA Cup clash against Wollongong Wolves.

Professional Career:

After that, his career took a significant leap forward when he was chosen for the Socceroos coach Graham Arnold’s squad for the final two friendlies before the team met up overseas for the Qatar World Cup.

Later, Garang Kuol become the youngest Socceroo ever to appear at a World Cup when he came on as a substitute against France in the opening match of the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
