Early Life Career
Fábio Silva started his football journey at a young age with FC Porto, one of the most successful football clubs in Portugal. Subsequently, his natural talent and speed on the pitch swiftly garnered the attention of the club’s coaches.
In 2015, he transferred to rival club Benfica, only to return to Porto two years later. Silva was part of the squad that won the 2018–19 UEFA Youth League.
Having scored 20 goals in 26 games for the under-19 team by February 2019, Fábio then received a call-up from manager Sérgio Conceição to train with the first team.
Professional Career of Fábio S:
Fábio Silva made his professional debut for Porto in August 2019. During his time at Porto, he set several club records relating to his young age. He became the youngest player in the club’s history to play in the Primeira Liga, surpassing Bruno Gama’s record.
He also became the club’s youngest player in European competitions, beating Rúben Neves. Furthermore, he became the club’s youngest starter in any competition and the youngest goalscorer in the club’s history.
In September 2020, Fábio Silva signed a contract with Wolverhampton Wanderers, a Premier League club in the UK.
